Tuesday, May 13 Day 4

  • Hernewood’s LEARN 2 RUN Program will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 4:00 pm.
  • There will be boys softball practice today (Tuesday) until 4:30 pm. Please let one of the coaches know if you are unable to attend.
  • There will be girls’ softball practice today until 4:30 pm with a parents meeting at 4:30 pm. Let one of your coaches know if you are unable to make it.
  • Track and Field will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week until 4:45 pm.
  • Any of Ms. Barnes French students who need to rewrite or make up a test, go to room 307 at the beginning of lunch.
  • Congrats to Tristan Cahill who is the leader in the Hernewood Challenge of Clap Push-ups with having done 20.
  • In celebration of National Police Week, Prince District RCMP is holding an OPEN HOUSE at the West Prince Detachment on Saturday May 17th from noon until 4:00 PM. Stop by and have a hotdog or hamburger and meet your local RCMP members. All proceeds from the bar-b-que will be donated to West Prince Caring Cupboard. Police officers, Auxiliary constables, volunteers with MADD Canada, Youth Intervention Outreach Worker Rene Tremblay, Firemen, EMS attendants and Ground Search and Rescue members will all be onsite to answer questions about public safety, programs and initiatives. Police Dog Service, Ground Search and Rescue Mobile Command Unit, Police Helicopter, emergency vehicles and police cars will be available for a close-up view. Tours of the detachment will be provided, including the jail cell area.This is a community event and those with families are encouraged to attend. Come meet the officers who work in your community.
