  • Noel Cousins has created a movie as a part of the Young Citizens Programme of Canada, which has been created by the Department of Heritage.  He was awarded this unique opportunity at the Provincial Heritage Fair where he was one of two finalists for grade 8.  The more votes he receives between now and the closing date of August 7, the better opportunity he has at winning a trip to Ottawa and a chance to meet the Govenor General Of Canada.   • Agriculture Certificate Program applications for Westisle need to be dropped off to the office by Friday.
  • Grade 9 music students:  please pass in all instruments and music by Friday, June 15th.
  • Any boys that didn’t return their softball uniform should do so asap to Mrs. Waite.
  • Congratulations to Mackenzie Brennan, winner of the Staples Recycling draw. 
  • Reminder to students to be sure and clean out your gym lockers before the end of the year and take your locks with you.
  • Any 9B students wanting to stay after for Math help let Mrs. Waite know.  She will be staying after until 4:45 pm.
  • The battle of the sex’s fundraiser raised $507 for IWK.  Emily Boyles stole the most hearts from the boys and Dillon Campbell stole the most hearts from the girls.  Thanks for all your support!!
  • Girls’ softball team played hard in their provincials yesterday and won bronze in the final game 11-10.  Reminder to all the girls to hand in your uniforms to Mrs. Smallman by Friday.
